Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts professional to manage the full set of accounts and support daily finance operations. You will maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, perform reconciliations, and ensure compliance with accounting and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full set of accounts including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Prepare and process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to maintain up-to-date accounting records.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts to verify accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely financial closure.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate accounting records to support financial stability.
  • Process payments and follow up on outstanding receivables to optimize cash collection.
  • Prepare GST submissions and support tax compliance to meet statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other external parties to facilitate audits and compliance.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial analysis to support financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards to maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Perform ad hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel to efficiently manage financial data.
  • Knowledge of Singapore GST and accounting practices to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience handling a full set of accounts.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
