Role Overview
The Production Coordinator oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth workflow between production teams, suppliers, and management. This role focuses on scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control to meet production targets efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling: Plan and coordinate daily/weekly production schedules to meet delivery timelines.
Workflow Coordination: Align tasks across departments (procurement, assembly, quality assurance) to avoid bottlenecks.
Resource Management: Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment usage to optimize efficiency.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards and resolve production issues promptly.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain records of production output, downtime, and resource utilization.
Communication: Act as liaison between shop floor staff, supervisors, and management.
Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements for productivity and cost savings.
Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related field.
Experience in production planning and coordination within manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office tools.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
