ELECTROMECHANICAL TECHNICIAN
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electromechanical equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and production equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
- Replace or repair defective components such as motors, sensors, relays, drives, bearings, and control systems.
- Assist in the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of machinery and equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
Follow workplace safety procedures and comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements- 1–3 years of experience in electromechanical maintenance,manufacturing, industrial automation, or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels,PLCs, sensors, and automation equipment.
- Understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics,pneumatics, and power transmission equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings andschematics.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic and testing instrumentssuch as multimeters, clamp meters, and calibration
tools.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs andtroubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasksfor extended periods.
- Exposure to machinery, noise, heat, and industrialenvironments.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight dealines, withflexibility to work extended hours when required
