Job Summary

Oversee and manage key construction activities for Terminal 5, ensuring compliance with Singapore standards, quality control, safety, and timely project delivery through effective coordination and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage construction activities including Dwall construction, deep excavation, C&C tunnels, drainage systems, pavement construction, taxiways, and runways to ensure project milestones are met
• Ensure all construction work complies with Singapore standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct regular inspections to verify quality control and adherence to project specifications, identifying and resolving issues promptly
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and maintain smooth project progress
• Monitor project progress by tracking budget and schedule, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on site

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant experience as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO), including at least five (5) years supervising major construction works in Singapore
• Proficiency in project management and construction supervision to effectively lead and control project activities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
