Job Description

Assistant Manager / Sales Engineer (ACMV or HVAC) Building Services & Maintenance Solutions


Responsibilities:

  • Lead, guide and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company's maintenance and service business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for business expansion.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across commercial, industrial and institutional sectors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation and contract closure.
  • Monitor sales performance, pipeline activities and key business metrics, providing regular updates to management.
  • Prepare and deliver customized proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market developments and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Engage customers to understand operational requirements and recommend suitable service solutions.
  • Work closely with technical, operations and support teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in sales forecasting, budgeting and business planning activities.
  • Support the development of team capabilities through coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Represent the organization at industry networking events, exhibitions and business forums.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of team performance and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Continuously improve sales processes and customer engagement strategies to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in building services, facilities management, maintenance solutions, engineering services, HVAC, ACMV, or related industries will be advantageous.
  • Proven track record in business development, account management and solution-based selling.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to build long-term partnerships with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a sales team will be an advantage.
