Lecturer, Media and Communication
Must be able to teach in the following subjects:
- Communication, Creativity and Cultural Production
- Commercial Social Media Production
- Contemporary Journalism
- Creative Collaborations
- Data Visualisation in Journalism
- Digital Media Engagement
- Foundations of Media Production
- Global Media Industries
- Media and Communication Concepts
- Media Storytelling
- Multiplatform Journalism
- News Media
- Podcasting and Radio
- Strategic Communication
· Able to conduct lectures, tutorials, and workshops.
· Mark and provide ongoing feedback on all course work and assessments related to the contracted subject(s).
· Administer tests and quizzes where necessary.
· Participate in the moderation process as needed by the institution/university partner.
· Conduct student counselling and consultation sessions as needed.
· Engage in student development by providing strong learning support and monitoring of students’ academic performance via required feedback to school administration.
· Participate in pedagogical training activities that may periodically be offered
· Contribute to the review, design and development of high-quality curriculum and course materials.
Requirements
· Teaching and/or working experience in a relevant area preferred.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Availability for daytime and evening classes
