As a Cyber Threat Engineer in the Security Operations Center (SOC), you will monitor and analyse system events using various cybersecurity tools (e.g., IDS, firewalls, and logs) to detect and respond to threats. You’ll ensure 24x7 monitoring efficiency and assess incidents for escalation.

What You’ll Do

• Investigate and respond to escalated security alerts and incidents
• Perform incident containment, remediation, and recovery
• Analyse logs across SIEM, endpoint, network, and cloud platforms
• Conduct threat hunting and identify root causes of security events
• Apply threat intelligence and map findings to frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
• Prepare clear incident reports and recommend mitigation actions
• Support continuous improvement of SOC processes and detection capabilities

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in SOC / Incident Response / Cyber Defence
• Strong hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and security investigations
• Familiar with common threats (phishing, malware, account compromise, etc.)
• Good knowledge of networks, Windows/Linux systems, and attack techniques
• Exposure to frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, OWASP
• Basic scripting (Python / PowerShell / Bash) is a plus
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts
