Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in preparing and reviewing project estimates, quotations, and tender documents

· Review construction drawing budgets and perform quantity take-offs (BOQ)

· Conduct site inspections and coordinate technical matters related to construction drawings

· Manage project variations, progress claims, final accounts, and labour settlements

· Compile and maintain all variation orders and cost-related documentation

· Prepare accurate cost estimates and final accounts in accordance with company budgeting standards

· Monitor and review designers’ budgets to ensure no unreasonable adjustments; highlight and rectify discrepancies

· Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and quotations

· Support project cost control, tracking, and reporting

· Assist in contract administration, including preparation and signing of construction contracts

· Assist the finance team in cost accounting and cost analysis

· Maintain proper documentation and organized cost records

· Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Requirements

· Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field

· 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates are welcome)

· Familiar with interior fit-out project budgeting and able to provide cost analysis.  

· Basic knowledge of construction and renovation processes.  

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and related software.  

· Knowledge of materials and construction methods for both residential and commercial projects

· Detail-oriented, analytical, and well-organized

· Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

· Positive attitude, responsible, and able to work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in interior design or renovation projects

· Familiar with local suppliers and material costing

· Knowledge of AutoCAD or related software
