Job Description

Job Scope

  • Support the development and delivery of the population health narrative across internal and external communication platforms.
  • Translate complex concepts related to population health, primary care, and community care into clear, engaging, and accessible messaging.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across all communication channels to strengthen awareness and understanding of the population health model of care.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance engagement and mindshare among key stakeholders, including leadership, staff, partners, and residents.
  • Develop and refine leadership communication materials, including speeches, presentations, talking points, and stakeholder engagement content.
  • Lead communications for key initiatives in population health, primary care, community care, and national preventive health programmes.
  • Develop communication plans, key messages, and content strategies aligned with programme priorities.
  • Coordinate communication efforts with internal teams and external partners to ensure integrated and consistent messaging.
  • Ensure communications align with organisational and national healthcare priorities.
  • Identify storytelling opportunities and develop high-impact content, including articles, newsletters, social media posts, videos, website content, and programme materials.
  • Provide guidance on content development and storytelling approaches to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with the overall narrative.
  • Support the creation of priority communication materials for leadership engagement and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Group Communications to develop media materials, including press releases, media pitches, and talking points.
  • Support responses to media enquiries and monitor media coverage.
  • Identify opportunities to increase visibility and awareness of population health initiatives.
  • Manage communication timelines and deliverables across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
  • Track communication performance metrics, including engagement and reach across channels.
  • Gather insights and feedback to evaluate communication effectiveness and inform continuous improvements.

Requirements

  • Min Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum prior relevant communications experience, preferably within healthcare, public sector, or social impact environments.
