Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily bakery production including breads, pastries, and other baked goods.

  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all bakery products.

  • Develop new recipes and improve existing menu items.

  • Supervise, train, and schedule bakery staff.

  • Monitor inventory levels and order baking ingredients and supplies.

  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.

  • Manage production planning to meet customer demand and minimize waste.

  • Work closely with management on menu planning and cost control.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Baker or Head Baker in a bakery, café, or restaurant.

  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

  • Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

  • Creative mindset for developing new bakery products.

  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays when required.
