Coffeeshop Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Coffeeshop Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, tenant coordination, manpower management, and overall business performance of the coffeeshop. The ideal candidate should have strong operational leadership, customer service, and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations Management

  • Oversee daily coffeeshop operations and ensure smooth workflow
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards are maintained
  • Monitor opening and closing procedures of the outlet
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and food safety regulations

2. Tenant & Stall Coordination

  • Coordinate with stall tenants on operational matters and requirements
  • Resolve tenant issues, disputes, and operational concerns professionally
  • Ensure stallholders comply with hygiene, licensing, and operating standards
  • Support tenant onboarding and operational setup when required

3. Manpower & Team Management

  • Supervise service staff, cleaners, cashiers, and operational personnel
  • Prepare staff schedules and manage manpower allocation
  • Train and monitor staff performance and discipline
  • Ensure smooth coordination between all operational teams

4. Customer Service & Complaint Handling

  • Ensure good customer experience within the coffeeshop environment
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Resolve operational issues efficiently during peak hours

5. Sales & Business Performance

  • Monitor overall outlet performance and customer traffic
  • Support promotional activities and business improvement initiatives
  • Work with management to improve operational efficiency and profitability

6. Maintenance & Compliance

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair works for the premises
  • Ensure compliance with NEA, hygiene, fire safety, and licensing requirements
  • Conduct routine inspections to maintain operational standards

7. Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare operational reports and incident reports
  • Monitor utility usage, operational costs, and inventory where applicable
  • Maintain proper records and documentation

Requirements

  • Experience in coffeeshop, food court, restaurant, or F&B operations management
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and outlet operations
  • Able to multitask and handle fast-paced environments
  • Good communication and conflict-resolution skills
  • Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Work Environment

  • Coffeeshop / food court / F&B operational environment
  • Requires active on-ground supervision and coordination
