Program / Project Engineer (MS Project) $4.5K - $5.8K + VB (up to 1.5 months) Location: East

Role Summary

·       Oversee and coordinate engineering programs

·       Work closely with NPI, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure projects meet client specifications and company standards

·       Manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning through delivery

·       Serve as the key technical point of contact between clients, suppliers, and internal teams

Key Duties

·       Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for precision engineering programs

·       Monitor project progress and resolve technical and logistical challenges as they arise

·       Provide technical expertise in CNC machining, micro-fabrication, and metrology processes

·       Oversee prototype development and ensure design manufacturability

·       Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for high-precision components and systems

·       Ensure projects meet strict quality and tolerance standards typical of precision engineering

·       Coordinate testing, validation, and inspection processes for components and assemblies

·       Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and risk assessments to stakeholders

Requirements

·       Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or related field

·       3–5 years of experience in program or project engineering within precision engineering or manufacturing

·       Strong knowledge of precision manufacturing processes and materials

·       Proficient with project management tools such as MS Project

·       Hands-on experience with CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and high-precision measurement tools is advantageous

·       Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD is advantageous

·       Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards

·       Experience managing customer relationships in semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, or analytical life sciences sectors

·       Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
