Building Manager (Commercial Building)

Job Descriptions : 

• The role leads a team of Executives in managing all aspects of building operations, including M&E systems and outsourced services such as cleaning, security, landscaping, and pest control, ensuring all works are delivered to contract standards.
• The incumbent oversees the full procurement cycle — preparing, calling, evaluating, and administering quotations and tenders — while managing vendor performance and advising on specialist appointments.
• Financial accountability includes budget preparation and control for both operational and capital expenditures, alongside preparation of management reports and contract reviews.
• The role requires hands-on compliance management covering Green Mark sustainability standards, SCDF fire evacuation drills, CERT training, and liaison with all relevant authorities to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certificates.
• Additionally, the role manages all tenancy matters including fit-outs, renovations, reinstatements, and tenant feedback, while maintaining proper records and documentation across all building operations.

Requirements 

• Recognized degree in Facilities / Building Services / Building Management, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity
• Strong leadership, good interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer service oriented with a positive attitude
• Good team player and able to work independently
