Assistant Operations Executive

Responsibilities

• Join a traineeship to learn the basics of vessel operations and resource planning in a round-the-clock container terminal
• Watch over quay side activities to keep vessel handling running smoothly
• Plan and manage container yard activities using the Terminal Operations System
• Track the loading and unloading of containers each day
• Guide and motivate a team of equipment specialists to carry out daily plans
• Make sure work plans are completed on time and meet service targets
• Build strong leadership and communication skills during the traineeship
• Keep safety and efficiency standards high across all terminal duties
• Work with other teams to support smooth terminal activities
• Share new ideas to improve how the terminal runs

Requirements

• Local polytechnic diploma, or GCE A levels with relevant credits
• Open to fresh graduates joining a structured traineeship
• Some knowledge of terminal systems or logistics work is a plus
• Good leadership, communication, and team skills
• Willing to perform 12 hours rotating shift duties
