SAP ABAP Consultant

Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Consultant to support business and technology transformation initiatives. The role involves analyzing requirements, developing SAP ABAP solutions, preparing technical specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP applications and enhancements.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP implementation, enhancement, and transformation projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications for development activities.
• Develop, customize, test, and support SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
• Assist in proof-of-concept development, solution design, and effort estimation.
• Coordinate solution deployment and provide post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while maintaining system performance and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in SAP ABAP development and support.
• Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming and development tools.
• Experience in requirement analysis, technical design, and solution implementation.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Design Innovation concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Familiarity with Software Product Management practices.
• Understanding of Software Quality Assurance (SQA) processes.
