Principal Consultant (KYC – Banking)

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end PMO support across KYC projects, including planning, tracking, reporting, and governance
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
• Maintain project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, and status dashboards
• Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders and senior management
• Support project governance activities such as meeting coordination, minutes, and follow-up actions
• Coordinate with Business, IT, Operations, Compliance, and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery
• Support KYC-related business analysis activities, including requirement clarification and documentation
• Assist in UAT preparation, execution tracking, and issue management
• Provide support for audit, compliance, and regulatory review activities when required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO, project management, project delivery, or business analysis within the banking domain
• Strong experience supporting IT or regulatory-driven projects in a banking environment
• Proven experience in project tracking, reporting, governance, and stakeholder coordination
• Good knowledge of KYC / AML processes, including customer due diligence, risk assessment, suspicious transaction monitoring, correspondent banking, wire transfers, and regulatory compliance
• Hands-on experience working with AML / KYC teams or banking systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-project environment and manage changing priorities
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, or MS Project is an advantage
• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related disciplines preferred
• Highly organised, proactive, dependable, and delivery-focused with strong ownership and accountability
