Treasury Manager | Quantitative Hedge Fund

About Our Client

A fast-growing AI-driven quantitative hedge fund with a track record of scaling from launch to multi-billion AUM within a few years. The firm is now expanding internationally and building out its Singapore presence — this role is the first dedicated Treasury hire, sitting at the center of that expansion.

The Role

This is a builder opportunity. You'll establish the Treasury function from the ground up — owning prime broker relationships, optimizing equity financing and margin economics, managing liquidity across entities and currencies, and partnering with technology to build the infrastructure the function needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage equity financing economics across prime brokers — stock loan, swap terms, locate costs, and rebate rates
• Own commercial relationships with PBs, FCMs, clearing banks, and custodians from onboarding through ongoing management
• Optimize initial and variation margin across CCPs and prime brokers; manage collateral composition to minimize funding cost
• Daily cash positioning across accounts; deploy excess liquidity into MMFs, T-bills, or reverse repo
• Manage cross-entity funding movements and hedge FX exposure across the global legal structure
• Establish Treasury policies, controls, and reporting frameworks

What We're Looking For

• 10 - 15 years in Treasury, portfolio financing, or prime brokerage at a prop trading firm, quant hedge fund, market maker, or investment bank prime services desk
• Deep hands-on knowledge of equity financing and futures margin mechanics (SPAN, VaR-based, cross-margin)
• Proven experience negotiating with PBs and FCMs
• Builder mindset — comfortable setting up a function rather than running an established one
