Our client is a leading global financial institution seeking an experiencedOperations Analyst to support the delivery of payments-related initiatives.This role sits within a project-focused operations environment and isresponsible for coordinating across multiple business and technology teams toensure operational readiness, successful testing execution, and smoothimplementation of new initiatives. The successful candidate will work closelywith operations, onboarding, servicing, technical, product, and technologystakeholders while supporting end-to-end project delivery within a fast-pacedand highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate across multiple business and support functions to ensure project readiness, implementation preparedness, and successful delivery of agreed outcomes.
- Drive end-to-end execution of assigned workstreams, ensuring timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables are effectively managed.
- Partner with subject matter experts, project stakeholders, and impacted teams to identify, discuss, escalate, and resolve project issues and operational challenges.
- Define and align responsibilities across participating teams to ensure clear ownership and accountability throughout project execution.
- Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing activities, ensuring test scenarios are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Track, manage, and facilitate defect resolution activities by working closely with business users, technology teams, and project stakeholders.
- Assess operational impacts of new initiatives and support implementation planning to ensure business readiness and process continuity.
- Prepare updates, status reports, and project communications for relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting projects, testing activities, or change initiatives within a payments operations environment.
- Strong understanding of payment operations processes, including domestic and international payments, cross-border transactions, SWIFT messaging, and operational controls.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations related to payments, including sanctions screening and anti-money laundering requirements.
- Proven experience coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders while managing competing priorities in a project environment.
- Hands-on experience performing UAT, regression testing, defect tracking, and issue resolution activities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and business analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Nice-to-Have:
- Working knowledge of ISO 20022 standards, foreign exchange processes, and payment message formats.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience supporting large-scale transformation, implementation, or change programmes.
- Experience preparing executive-level reporting and presentations.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools.
