Venue Manager (Events/AV Maintenance)

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of venues. Ensure all venue activities follow rules, safety standards, and operating procedures.
• Develop and improve standard operating procedures to enhance venue operations and customer experience.
• Prepare staff schedules and supervise Venue Executives to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle venue bookings, payments, invoices, receipts, and refund processing accurately.
• Prepare and submit financial reports, booking schedules, and operational updates to management.
• Coordinate logistics and oversee kitchen operations and equipment maintenance within the Gardens.
• Ensure areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained according to safety regulations.
• Oversee maintenance of Audio & Visual (AV) equipment including projectors, screens, sound systems, lighting, and control systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for maintenance, repairs, and operational support.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and operational issues professionally and promptly.

Requirements

• Degree with relevant experience in venue and events management. Relevant experience in similar industries can also be considered.
• Meticulous and well-organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Preferably First Aid & CPR certified
