Company Overview
The client is ideating, designing and prototyping Singapore's first Hawker Centre of the Future in Punggol, a living lab focused on innovating hawkerpreneur work experiences, customer journeys and giving back to the community.
Job Summary
Join a pioneering team to plan and execute hawker-themed events, support innovation trials, manage data reporting, and coordinate daily operations at Singapore’s first government-owned Hawker Centre of the Future.
Responsibilities
- Ideate, design and execute themed events, food festivals, community activities, family activities and innovation showcases
- Prototype new hawker concepts, operational models, and hawkerpreneur initiatives
- Compile and track operational data using Microsoft Excel to monitor progress and prepare presentation materials with Microsoft PowerPoint for reporting and communication
- Liaise with multiple stakeholders to coordinate daily operations and ensure smooth running of the hawker centre
- Engage customers on-site to enhance their experience and support ground-level coordination in a fast-paced environment
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Multi-lingual or dialects (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, Hokkien, Cantonese) advantageous.
- Computer literate with experience in MS Powerpoint and Excel.
Other Information
Monthly Salary $2,500 – $3,000
Work Week 5 days per week including weekends, 44 hours per week
Training Full on-the-job training provided
