Senior IT Support Executive

Job Summary

A leading MultinationalCorporation (MNC) headquartered in Taiwan is establishing a new factory inSingapore. We are seeking an experienced IT Support Executive who will beresponsible for providing day-to-day technical support for the company’s officeand factory operations. This includes maintaining IT infrastructure, supportinghardware and software, troubleshooting system and network issues, and ensuringsmooth operation of business and production-related IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support & Helpdesk

  • Provide first-level technical support to office and factory users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and email issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and scanners.
  • Support Microsoft Office, ERP systems, accounting software, and other business applications.
  • Set up user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
  • Maintain IT inventory, software licenses, and asset records.
  • Perform regular system updates, antivirus checks, and data backups.
  • Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when necessary.

Network & Infrastructure

  • Monitor and maintain LAN/Wi-Fi network connectivity for office and factory.
  • Support internet, VPN, firewall, switches, and server operations.
  • Ensure stable connectivity for factory production systems and devices.
  • Assist in troubleshooting network downtime and system failures.

Factory / Production Support

  • Provide IT support for factory operations, including production PCs, barcode scanners, label printers, CCTV, and attendance systems.
  • Assist in supporting manufacturing or warehouse systems where applicable.
  • Coordinate with production teams to minimize operational disruptions caused by IT issues.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security procedures.
  • Monitor and report potential cybersecurity threats or suspicious activities.
  • Support implementation of backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of company data and systems.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain proper documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting records.
  • Prepare periodic reports on IT issues, maintenance activities, and asset status.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance IT efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant IT support experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, Microsoft 365, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting factory/manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and respond promptly to IT issues.
