Job description:
1. Prepare, bake and present all baked items effectively, meeting the company operation manual and gold standards.
2. Produce bread / buns on schedule.
3. Practice good housekeeping & workplace / kitchen safety awareness.
4. Ensure that food hygiene and safety standards are maintained and comply.
5. All other ad-hoc duties given by Supervisor.
6 days per week. Official working hours from 6.30am to 5.30pm. Entitled one (1) hour of meal break.
Working location - near bugis
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a range of breads, pastries, and other baked items
- Follow established recipes and maintain a high standard of quality and hygiene
- Monitor ingredient levels and assist with stock rotation
- Work within a set schedule to ensure timely product availability
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Support the team in day-to-day tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Working 6 days a week.
- Prior baking experience in a commercial or retail setting is preferred
- Solid understanding of baking techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work early mornings and weekends as required
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a calm, focused work ethic
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a small team
- Able to lift goods up to 20kg (e.g. a sack of flour)
