Job Description

Job Description & Requirements

  • Assist in projects planning, preparation of costing and estimation, logistic planning, departmental briefings, quality control, schedule managements, budget management and communication.
  • Overall responsible towards all M&E construction activities with respect to performance, procedure and making recommendations for improvements and correction actions.
  • Manage contractors with a focus on quality, compliance with engineering drawings, applicable code and standards and project schedule and cost.
  • Develops and implements corporate construction policies.
  • Oversee the effective management of project activities to ensure timely delivery and low wastage.
  • Manage and lead a team of engineers.
  • Liaise with internal department, government/Statutory Authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers to ensurre smooth operation of projects.
  • Provide timely project progress reporting to Management and attending to all site meetings.
  • Ensure business objective is obtained and complies with all relevant regulation and laws.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance and ISO Standards are met on all construction related activites and customer quality specifications are constantly met.
  • Manpower allocation to maximise productivity.

Job requirement

  • Min Diploma n Electrical Engineering
  • Well versed in MS Office
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to critically analyze issues and creatively identify solutions
  • High level of initiative, independent and meticulous
  • At least 6 years of working experience in supervisory / managerial capacity
  • Ability to work under great pressure and short timeline.
  • Willingness to work at Tuas area with transportation pick-up at designated MRT station, should candidate is assigned to Tuas project
