Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Brewery Technician to join our team in the production of high-quality Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal brews and decoctions. This role involves hands-on operation of brewing equipment, preparation of herbal ingredients, and supporting the full production process.
No prior experience is required — we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. We are looking for individuals with a genuine interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine who are physically fit and eager to learn. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor TCM brewing machines and decoction equipment to produce herbal extracts and concentrates according to standard operating procedures.
- Prepare, weigh, and mix raw Chinese herbs following prescribed formulas.
- Perform cleaning, sanitization, and basic maintenance of brewing vessels, pipes, and production areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Carry heavy loads (herbal materials, drums, and finished products) and assist with warehouse loading/unloading activities.
- Pack, label, and prepare finished TCM brews for quality inspection and dispatch.
- Support inventory management and raw material handling in the warehouse.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent (higher qualifications are a plus).
- Strong interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and natural wellness is essential.
- Physically fit and able to carry heavy loads (up to 15kg) and perform manual warehouse work.
- Willing to work in a fast-paced production environment with occasional shift duties.
- Good command of English and/or Mandarin (must be able to read Chinese characters).
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
