Senior/ Assistant Manager, Clinical Quality Improvement & Medical Governance

Job Description

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate and support clinical quality, patient safety, and quality improvement training programmes and workshops

  • Manage the planning and execution of QI workshops, including scheduling, logistics, communications, participant registration, and stakeholder coordination

  • Support Quality Assurance and Clinical Services committees, including preparation of reports, presentations, documentation, and meeting minutes

  • Manage incidents and serious reportable events, including conducting root cause analysis (RCA), tracking follow-up actions, and supporting quality assurance processes

  • Collect, analyse, interpret, and present quality and safety data to support operational and clinical improvement initiatives

  • Prepare dashboards, reports, metrics, and presentations to monitor programme outcomes and drive data-informed improvements

  • Coordinate project proposal submissions, review processes, faculty engagement, and project review sessions

  • Monitor compliance with programme timelines, project deliverables, and reporting requirements

  • Collaborate closely with clinicians, administrators, faculty members, and multidisciplinary stakeholders to support quality and patient safety initiatives

  • Develop and maintain policies, SOPs, guidelines, templates, checklists, and programme documentation

  • Identify opportunities for workflow enhancement, process optimisation, digitalisation, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Maintain and update website content and communication materials related to quality and training programmes 

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor Degree in Healthcare Administration/ Public Health/ Nursing/ Life Sciences/ Medicine or related discipline

  • 3 - 6 years of working experience in healthcare quality improvement/ patient safety/ clinical governance/ healthcare operations/ programme management or related healthcare settings

  • Experience with healthcare systems, digital tools, AI, or automation initiatives will be an advantage

  • Strong understanding and practical exposure to Quality Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDSA, RCA, Clinical Audit, or other continuous improvement frameworks is essential

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Familiarity with patient safety principles, incident management, and healthcare quality assurance processes preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and presentation preparation

  • Excellent communication, organisational, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills

  • Positive, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
