Quality Technician, Lift / Escalator

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site visual and final inspections of lifts and escalators to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Support system preparation, operational checks, and assessment of lift and escalator systems.
• Inspect key components like motor controls, brakes, cables, doors, and operators.
• Identify hazards, defects, or malfunctions that could affect passenger safety.
• Follow ISO standards and company procedures during all inspections.
• Prepare reports, document findings, and suggest corrective actions.
• Coordinate with installation and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Test safety features, including emergency stops and alarms.

Requirements:

• NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Building Environment bor equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of lift industry experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Mature, responsible, and disciplined.
• Self-motivated and goal-driven.
