Chemical Process Technician (West)

Job Responsibilities

• Operate chemical manufacturing processes and material handling equipment in accordance with work instructions and safety standards.
• Perform batch processing activities, including manual handling of materials, and support daily production operations.
• Assist in troubleshooting process and product quality issues together with the Production Supervisor.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Participate in emergency response activities and take appropriate action during emergencies after receiving relevant training.

Job Requirements

• NITEC in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of chemical processing operations; familiarity with DCS or PLC systems is an advantage.
• Familiar with environment involving manual material handling and workplace safety standards
