About our client: Our client is a global marine solutions provider specialising in valves, actuators, and flow control systems used onboard vessels.

About the role: We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow our marine sales portfolio across Southeast Asia. You will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts within the marine industry, promoting a range of valves, actuators, and flow control solutions used onboard vessels.

This role requires strong technical sales capability, industry connections, and the ability to engage shipowners, shipyards, and marine service providers across the region. Develop and expand new business opportunities within the marine sector across Southeast Asia.

  • Manage and grow relationships with shipowners, ship managers, shipyards, and system integrators
  • Promote marine valve, actuator, and flow control solutions for vessel applications
  • Identify project opportunities in newbuild, retrofit, and repair markets
  • Conduct client visits, technical presentations, and solution discussions
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to propose suitable system solutions
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecasts, and achieve regional sales targets
  • Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to build market presence
  • Travel extensively across the region (up to 90%)

About you:

  • Minimum 8–15+ years of experience in marine-related technical sales or business development
  • Strong network with shipowners, shipyards, or marine service providers is highly preferred
  • Experience selling marine equipment (e.g. valves, actuators, deck machinery, automation, or related systems)
  • Strong understanding of marine vessel systems and onboard applications
  • Proven track record in project sales or solution-based technical selling
  • Comfortable with high travel (up to 90% across Southeast Asia)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-driven, independent, and results-oriented

  • Office location: West Singapore
  • Work hours: 5-day workweek
  • Travel: Extensive regional travel required (up to 90% of the time)
