Upstream/Downtstream Biotechnologist

BIOTECHNOLOGIST – UPSTREAM (COMMISSIONING)

Overview
Supporting the commissioning of upstream process equipment, suited to a biotechnologist who can step in quickly and contribute to commissioning activities on a shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities

• Support commissioning of upstream process equipment (e.g. media preparation, cell culture, fermentation, bioreactors)
• Perform commissioning checks, documentation, and troubleshooting activities
• Work in accordance with GMP standards across shift operations
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and QA teams

Requirements

• Degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Experience in upstream bioprocessing operations
• Exposure to equipment commissioning, or strong process knowledge with the ability to support commissioning activities
• Willingness to work on a shift basis
• Positive, can-do attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills

BIOTECHNOLOGIST – DOWNSTREAM (COMMISSIONING)

Supporting the commissioning of downstream process equipment, suited to a biotechnologist who can step in quickly and contribute to commissioning activities on a shift pattern.

Key Responsibilities

• Support commissioning of downstream process equipment (e.g. purification, chromatography, filtration, TFF)
• Perform commissioning checks, documentation, and troubleshooting activities
• Work in accordance with GMP standards across shift operations
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and QA teams

Requirements

• Degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, Life Sciences, or a related field
• Experience in downstream bioprocessing operations
• Exposure to equipment commissioning, or strong process knowledge with the ability to support commissioning activities
