SENIOR QS/QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents and submissions for new projects.
• Study contract documents, carry out quantity measurements, and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claims, and liaise with Clients’ representatives on claims and variation orders/costs.
• Call for quotations, compare prices, and prepare cost estimates and tender pricing.
• Review and verify subcontractors’ and suppliers’ claims, and prepare payment certificates.
• Attend site meetings, progress meetings, and claim discussions.
• Monitor projects during the Defects Liability Period (DLP) upon project completion.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all contractual and project-related matters.
• Coordinate closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualifications
• Preferably at least 3 years of relevant working experience in Civil Engineering
• Reliable with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good technical and contractual knowledge with high integrity and work ethic
• An independent and effective team player, collaborating on multi-projects of various stages, ensuring deliverables within set time & expectations.
