Assistant Manager, Project Control

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost review reports, including monitoring of project budgets, committed costs, actual expenditures, and variation orders. Identify potential cost risks and provide forecast on possible budget overruns.
• Conduct procurement reviews, including identifying of budget shortfalls, evaluating of subcontractor terms and conditions, responsibility matrices, and compliance of contract requirements. Identify procurement risks and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Perform post-project cost analysis, reviewing expenditure, unit rates, material wastage, and document key lessons learned to support continuous improvement and future cost benchmarking.
• Support the Global DX Centre (GDXC) to accelerate digital transformation initiatives, including coordination, covering end-to-end procurement processes such as quotation sourcing, evaluation, supplier feedback, and system enhancement activities.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project control systems and processes to enhance cost monitoring, control, and reporting efficiency.
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and maintenance of project control records.
• Provide support in tender cost reviews as and when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction or its equivalent
• 10 years of relevant experiences in General Construction/Civil Construction experience or its related field
• Involve from pre-contract stage to post-contract stage
• Proficient in computer skills, software and AI
• Able to analyze financial records and apply data to improved results
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
