Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Job Summary

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating electrical installation, maintenance, and testing works across HDB, condominium, and commercial projects. The role ensures all electrical works comply with Singapore standards, including CP5 and CP88, as well as project specifications, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily electrical works on-site for residential (HDB/condo) and commercial projects
• Ensure all installations comply with CP5, CP88, and relevant Singapore electrical and safety regulations
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other trades
• Review electrical drawings, method statements, and technical specifications
• Plan manpower, materials, and equipment for smooth project execution
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Ensure proper implementation of temporary electrical installations (as per CP88)
• Monitor work progress and resolve site issues promptly
• Enforce workplace safety practices and risk assessments
• Prepare reports, site updates, and documentation for project tracking
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, and clients when required

Requirements

• Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in HDB, condo, or commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of CP5 and CP88 standards
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Good leadership and team coordination skills
• Familiar with Singapore safety regulations and site practices
• Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) certification is an advantage

Preferred Skills

• Experience in testing & commissioning
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines

Work Environment

• Site-based role (construction projects across Singapore)
• May require overtime depending on project schedule
