Abacus Teacher

Location: Central/Northeast
Work Hours: Wed - Sun (Weekday 11am - 9pm, Weekend 9am - 6pm)

🔹 What You’ll Do

• Teach abacus and mental arithmetic lessons following our structured syllabus and teaching methods.
• Assign, review, and mark students’ homework while motivating them to complete their tasks.
• Communicate with parents regularly on students’ progress, learning needs, and any centre updates or schedule changes.
• Update student progress reports to ensure they are meeting key learning milestones.
• Support preparation for competitions, assessments, and internal centre events.
• Handle basic administrative tasks such as attendance-taking, lesson recordings, and uploading of online class materials.

🔹 Requirements

• Experience with teaching children.
• Knowledge/ Experience in Abacus.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written).
• Basic computer skills: Zoom, MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Good foundation in Mathematics.
• Patient, passionate about teaching, and enjoys working with children.
• Training will be provided - candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.
