Job Summary
We are seeking Software Quality Analysts / Manual Tester to support the testing and quality assurance of web and mobile applications within a critical banking payment infrastructure environment. The role will focus on ensuring the reliability, usability, and performance of customer-facing digital platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field;
- Must have at least 2-5 of software testing experience, preferably within banking or financial services;
- Minimum 2 years of software testing experience, preferably in web and mobile applications;
- Experience in functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing;
- Hands-on experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android);
- Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger;
- Basic understanding of cloud-based applications (AWS/Azure preferred);
- Experience with JIRA or similar defect management tools;
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Desired Skill-set
- Experience in banking, payments, fintech, or digital platforms;
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation;
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments.
Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements, user stories, and enhancement requests to identify test scope and coverage;
- Design, prepare, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test data for web and mobile applications;
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across mobile and digital platforms;
- Validate API integrations, data flows, and system interactions between applications and backend services;
- Conduct testing across multiple devices, operating systems, and browsers to ensure consistent user experience;
- Log, track, and retest defects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to drive timely resolution;
- Support cloud-based application testing and assist in issue investigation and root cause analysis;
- Document test results, testing evidence, and defect reports;
- Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
