Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a responsive and detail-oriented IT Support Officer to support operational incident management functions at the Singapore Air Traffic Control Centre (SATCC). This role focuses on handling fault notifications, logging incidents, conducting preliminary checks, and ensuring proper escalation processes are followed.

  • Location: Singapore Air Traffic Control Centre (SATCC)
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Shift-Based
  • Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Shift 1) or 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Shift 2); 24/7 rotating schedule based on allocated shifts per month

Responsibilities

  • Receive and acknowledge fault calls and fault locker notifications in a timely manner.
  • Log and track incidents into the system and raise support tickets accurately.
  • Perform preliminary checks and due diligence on reported issues prior to escalation.
  • Escalate unresolved matters to Level 2 support teams for further resolution.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of all incident activities throughout the shift.

Requirements

  • Background or exposure in IT, computing, or a related field is preferred. Open to candidates with basic technical knowledge and strong willingness to learn.
  • Strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
  • Process-oriented with good attention to detail.
  • Able to remain calm and composed under operational pressure.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Comfortable working rotating 12-hour shifts in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Responsible, reliable, and responsive in handling operational incidents.
