Mortgage Banker

Our client is an international bank and they have a few job openings for the Mortgage Banker position

Responsibilities

• Proactively acquire and activate mortgage loan business. Sales emphasis is on individual residential and commercial loans.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders (property agents, brokers) to increase referrals.
• Handle leads from marketing campaigns, inbound inquiries, and branch referrals, engaging both affluent and mass market clients.
• Implement the full mortgage loan application process, responsible for cases up to the customer's acceptance of the offer.
• Offer a wider range of products, including bancassurance and priority banking propositions.
• Keep informed on market trends and competitor offerings, conducting regular updates for target customer groups.
• Ability to work off-office hours and weekends for activities like show flats, campaigns, and networking events.
• Display exemplary conduct and ensure strict compliance with all applicable regulations and the Group's Code of Conduct

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in a related discipline
• 2+ years in Banking Sales, preferably with prior experience in Retail Mortgage.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore Real Estate Market and Mortgage Regulations & Frameworks.
• Good interpersonal skills, stakeholder experience, conversant with and able to work with external partners, and ability to work independently
