Job Description

Monthly Salary: UP to $17,000 (Negotiable)

Working Address: Central Business District 

Our client is seeking an experienced Aluminium Business Trader specialising in international trade, with a focus on electrolytic aluminium.

The role is responsible for driving overseas market expansion, managing procurement from international aluminium smelters, and developing sales to overseas processing plants.

In addition, the role covers import and export trading activities where pricing opportunities are favourable.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop and manage overseas procurement and sales channels for electrolytic aluminium.

  • Conduct import/export business based on market conditions.

  • Independently execute trades and maintain client relationships.

  • Travel internationally for business development when required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bulk commodity trading, preferably in aluminium or non-ferrous metals.

  • Strong understanding of trading models, supply chain structures, and global market dynamics.

  • Established upstream and downstream networks across suppliers, manufacturers, and/or trading counterparties will be highly advantageous.

  • Strong negotiation, commercial, and market analysis skills.

  • Proficiency in English is required. 

  • Basic conversational Mandarin is an advantage to support general business communication where applicable. 

  • Willingness and ability to undertake frequent international travel based on business needs 

  • Self-sufficient and able to operate independently with minimal supervision.

  • Existing industry connections are a strong advantage.
