Senior Data Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team, where you'll play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing modern data platforms. This is an opportunity to work with large-scale datasets, cloud technologies, and real-time data pipelines while having a strong influence on technical decisions and architecture.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms supporting analytics, reporting, and business applications

• Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows to ensure reliable, high-quality, and accessible data across the organization

• Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lake solutions

• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of data processing systems and workflows

• Work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver impactful data solutions

• Drive best practices in data engineering, code quality, testing, monitoring, and automation

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture through knowledge sharing and technical leadership

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related discipline

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Backend Engineering, or related technical roles

• Strong programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala

• Experience working with modern data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Flink, or similar tools

• Solid understanding of SQL, database design, and data modelling concepts

• Experience building and supporting data warehouses, data lakes, and large-scale data pipelines

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions

• Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
