ASSISTANT TEACHER

Job Summary

Plan and implement classroom programs that align with centre policies to promote effective learning. Prepare age-appropriate teaching aids, evaluate children’s progress, maintain resources, apply positive discipline, and build strong relationships with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and implement classroom programs aligned with centre policies and philosophy to achieve effective learning outcomes
• Assist in preparing and executing developmentally appropriate programs tailored to children’s individual needs
• Prepare age-appropriate teaching aids that support children’s developmental stages and learning objectives
• Evaluate children’s progress regularly and maintain accurate records to monitor developmental milestones over time
• Manage and maintain teaching resources, materials, and classroom environment to optimize educational delivery and engagement
• Apply positive discipline techniques consistently to create a supportive and respectful classroom atmosphere
• Build and sustain constructive relationships with children and parents to support holistic child development and communication
