Commercial Cleaner

The General Cleaner is responsible for carrying out cleaning and housekeeping duties within a shopping mall environment to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and a safe environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. The role involves performing routine cleaning operations at indoor public areas and supporting daily operational requirements as assigned by the Supervisor.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties within shopping mall premises as assigned
• Clean and maintain common areas, walkways, toilets, retail areas, offices, and other designated areas
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times within public and tenant areas
• Handle cleaning equipment and materials safely and properly
• Ensure safety measures and operational procedures are adhered to during cleaning activities
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or unsafe conditions to the Supervisor promptly
• Update cleaning records, job sheets, and logbook entries where required
• Support ad-hoc cleaning duties and operational assignments assigned by Management or Supervisor

Requirements

• Prior experience in shopping mall or commercial building cleaning will be an advantage
• Willing to perform cleaning duties as assigned by the Supervisor
• Positive attitude with good teamwork and willingness to learn
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently
• Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties

Working Hours & Location

• 5 working days per week (rotating off days)
• Working location: Near City Hall MRT Station
