Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Asst. Prof. Liviu Ungur on development of the sampling methodology of machine learning potentials under a project on "Achieving Transferability in MLFFs via Targeted Sub-Configuration Space Curation and Sampling".

The main responsibilities of the position include:
•    Generation of the training data for machine learning potentials
•    Study of the configuration space map, clustering of configurations
•    Contribution to the MLFF training software

Qualifications / Discipline:
•    BSc in Chemistry or Physics 

Skills:
•    Working skills with machine learning tools, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, pyhton coding and bash scripting, etc.
•    Experience with solid-state softwares, such as VASP or Quantum Esspresso. 
•    Experience with molecular dynamics simulations with Lammps / Gromacs.

Experience:  
•    Working experience with high-performance computing clusters, such as NSCC or HPC @NUS.
