Lifting Truck Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable KalmarForklift Operator to join our logistics team. This role requires a professional capable of transitioning seamlessly between heavy vehicle operation and material handling.

You will be responsible for transporting goods safely across designated routes and managing the loading/unloading process using a Kalmar Forklift. The ideal candidate is a veteran of the industry with a proven track record of safety, precision, and efficiency in handling heavy loads and navigating complex industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Kalmar Forklift Handling: Efficiently operate Kalmar forklifts to load, unload, stack, and move heavy containers or oversized cargo.
• Cargo Management: Secure all loads properly to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
• Maintenance & Inspection: Conduct daily pre-operational checks on both the truck and the Kalmar forklift. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery notes, and equipment inspection records.
• Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines and port/warehouse safety protocols.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of working experience in Kalmar forklift operation.Certification:
• Must possess a valid Forklift Operator License (mandatory).
• Technical Skill: Demonstrated proficiency in operating heavy-duty forklifts (specifically Kalmar or similar large-capacity reach stackers/forklifts).
• Reliability: Excellent attendance record and a disciplined approach to safety.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to handle the physical demands of cargo securing and extended periods of driving/operating machinery.

Personal Attributes

• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of the equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams.

Working Conditions

• Location: Jurong
• Monthly basic salary ranged from $4500 to $5000
