About the Role
sa.global is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) Presales Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with sales and delivery teams to support business development by positioning Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) solutions that meet customer needs.
The ideal candidate brings strong functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) and proven presales experience, including leading solution presentations, running discovery workshops, and collaborating with sales teams to create compelling proposals that drive customer success.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the sales team throughout the presales cycle by providing functional expertise and solution advisory for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC).
- Lead discovery sessions, analyze client business processes, and gather business requirements to identify opportunities and align D365 BC capabilities with customer objectives.
- Design, build, and deliver tailored product demonstrations and scenario-based solution walkthroughs that address key client requirements and industry use cases.
- Collaborate with the sales team on RFI/RFP responses, bid management, solution scoping, estimations, and preparation of proposals and Statements of Work (SOW).
- Perform fit-gap analysis and develop high-level solution designs.
- Document business requirements, functional specifications, and “as-is” and “to-be” business processes to support solution design and implementation.
- Support or participate in implementation activities including system configuration, solution setup, and data migration planning when required.
- Work closely with delivery teams, developers, and project managers to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and successfully transitioned from presales to delivery.
- Advise delivery teams during functional solution design and support user acceptance testing (UAT), user training, and knowledge transfer to ensure successful adoption of D365 BC.
- Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to clients, facilitating discussions and guiding decision-making aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure solution quality through proper documentation, adherence to functional standards, and collaboration with internal and global teams.
- Provide post-implementation or production support when required and assist in addressing ongoing client issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest features, capabilities, and best practices related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) as a Functional Consultant, Solution Consultant, Presales Consultant, or Solution Architect.
- Strong understanding of D365 BC modules with hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing following Microsoft best practices or implementation methodologies.
- Experience participating in presales activities such as discovery workshops, solution demonstrations, proposal development, RFI/RFP responses, and solution estimation.
- Ability to analyze business processes, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate business requirements into functional solution designs and specifications.
- Experience preparing high-quality functional documentation, business process mapping, and “as-is / to-be” process analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and product demonstration skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-makers throughout the sales cycle.
- Good understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, integrations, and enterprise application architecture.
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), user training, and post-implementation support.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams with strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Experience across multiple industries and a strong client-centric mindset with focus on delivering business value.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information technology or equivalent professional qualification.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are preferable.
- Project Management certification is highly desirable.
