Job Description
Working Hour
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:00pm
- Fridays: 7:30am to 3:30pm,
Key Responsibilities
One-on-One Support – Serve as a dedicated befriender and mentor to higher-needs students (HNS), building trusting and supportive relationships.
Motivational Talks – Plan and conduct motivational talks to inspire students, build resilience, and foster a positive mindset (drawing on personal experiences where appropriate).
Physical Activities – Lead and facilitate simple, age-appropriate physical exercises or light activities to promote students' mental and physical well-being.
Homework Care – Monitor and ensure students complete their homework assignments.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related discipline
Experience: At least 2 years in youth work, student support, or social services
Advantageous Certifications: Basic First Aid, Crisis De-escalation, or Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
