We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive with experience in the water industry to support the Company’s purchasing operations. The role involves supplier evaluation, sourcing, negotiation, purchase order management, and close coordination with project and service teams to ensure timely and compliant procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate suppliers regularly to ensure approved vendors can meet the Company’s purchasing requirements, particularly for water treatment equipment, materials, services, logistics, and supply chain support.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate contracts, commercial terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers, vendors, contractors, freight forwarders, and logistics providers.
- Generate and issue Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers, vendors, and contractors in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor Purchase Order delivery status, shipment schedules, and logistics arrangements, while liaising with colleagues on procurement progress and updates.
- Coordinate import/export shipments, freight arrangements, customs clearance, and delivery schedules to ensure timely material availability for projects and service activities.
- Maintain accurate procurement, logistics, and shipment records and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with project and service teams on procurement-related issues, delivery timelines, shipment coordination, and technical requirements.
- Resolve procurement, logistics, and shipment discrepancies to support smooth project execution and operational continuity.
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to optimize inventory availability, transportation efficiency, and cost control
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years of procurement experience, preferably in the water industry
Familiar with water treatment equipment, chemicals, spare parts, and subcontractor sourcing
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills
Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office
