Technical Delivery Manager, Core Banking/WM (1-year renewable contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the onshore delivery team to manage end-to-end software development and production support for approved initiatives, including projects, change requests, and L3 production fixes.
• Oversee the full SDLC lifecycle from analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with offshore delivery teams to plan, manage, and ensure smooth transition of deliverables.
• Work closely with Enterprise and Domain Architects to align application architecture with enterprise standards and strategic technology direction.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on application architecture, system design, and development best practices.
• Ensure delivery quality and compliance with established software delivery methodologies, coding standards, and security requirements, including clean Veracode and SonarQube results.
• Manage development risks, issues, and escalations impacting project timelines, while driving resolution plans proactively.
• Provide regular project and delivery updates to senior stakeholders and management.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and high-quality project deliverables.
• Partner with testing teams to ensure successful completion of SIT, UAT, performance, load, and security testing activities.
• Drive people management initiatives including team leadership, mentoring, capability development, and performance management for the onshore delivery team.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• PMP or other relevant project management certifications would be an added advantage.
• More than 10 years of experience delivering large-scale IT solutions within Banking or Wealth Management environments.
• At least 8 years of leadership experience managing sizable technology teams in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end software delivery across regional or global programs.
• Strong domain knowledge in Core Banking and Wealth Management systems.
• Experience with Wealth Management platforms and applications is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies including Agile and Waterfall SDLC.
• Experience in API integration, system interfaces, and enterprise application architecture.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and senior business stakeholders effectively.
• Demonstrated experience driving quality assurance, secure coding practices, and governance compliance across software delivery.
