BIM Modeler / BIM Coordinator

You will design and prepare detailed shop drawings and BIM models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. Support project teams through training and workflow improvements to enhance BIM-based quantification and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare detailed shop drawings for project submissions
• Develop and maintain BIM models and libraries with accurate parameters for BIM-based quantification and 4D simulation
• Create plan, elevation, section, and detail drawings with proper annotation for architectural approval
• Establish and maintain office BIM standards and procedures for sheet layout, layering, modeling processes, and drawing formats
• Prepare design and drafting schedules for project approval
• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and processes to improve proficiency and project outcomes
• Assist in developing and improving BIM workflows and standards to enhance efficiency and consistency

Required competencies and certifications

• Technically delivers CAD/BIM projects in the role of CAD and BIM Coordination
• Understanding of the VDC/CAD/BIM industry, concepts, practices, and procedures
• Diploma in Civil, Structural Engineering, M&E, Building, or equivalent
