Job Description

We are looking for Geological Consultants with advanced expertise spanning tectonics, geochemistry, and structural geology to support PMH's mining projects on a consultancy basis. You will work alongside our scientists and field geology team, contributing high-level scientific input at key decision points — from early-stage targeting through to drill programme design.

Areas of Expertise We're Looking For

1. Tectonics & Deep Mineral System Modelling

• Tectonic framework analysis and metallogenic belt targeting

• Predictive modelling of crust-mantle interaction and plate-boundary dynamics

• Geophysical imaging interpretation to prioritise high-value exploration domains

2. Geochemistry & Mineral Deposit Modelling

• Geochemical vectoring and deposit-targeting model design

• Trace element, isotopic, and alteration data integration

• QA/QC oversight for sampling programmes and drill geochemistry

3. Structural Geology & Regional Exploration

• Structural mapping and fault-system interpretation at belt to deposit scale

• 3D geological-structural modelling in complex and frontier terrains

• Regional targeting and drill-ready target generation

Candidates with deep expertise in at least two and a solid working knowledge of the third is highly preferred

What We're Looking For

• PhD in Geology, Earth Sciences, Geochemistry, or a related field

• 8 to 10 years of applied experience in exploration geology or geoscience research, with a meaningful portion in field-based settings

• Demonstrated ability to translate scientific analysis into clear exploration recommendations

• Experience in Africa or other frontier terrains is an advantage

• Comfortable working independently and delivering to agreed timelines without close supervision

• Clear, concise communicator — in reports, technical briefs, and in conversation with a cross-disciplinary team
