Clinical Psychologist [GC]

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, clinical interviews, and diagnostic evaluations to support client care and treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' psychological and emotional needs.
• Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), psychotherapy, and other appropriate therapeutic approaches.
• Administer, score, interpret, and prepare reports for psychological and psychometric assessments.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical records, documentation, and case notes.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention support when required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, educators, counsellors, and social service practitioners, to ensure holistic client care.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients, caregivers, families, and relevant stakeholders.
• Adhere to applicable professional standards, ethical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organisational policies.
• Support mental wellness initiatives, community outreach programmes, and other service development activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, or an equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Relevant experience in conducting psychological assessments and delivering psychological interventions.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and psychological assessment tools.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Registration with, or eligibility for registration with, a recognised professional psychology body will be an advantage.
