Technical Superintendent [Gas/LNG/LPG ] - WCAN

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily technical operations of assigned vessels in compliance with company and industry standards.
• Plan and oversee vessel repairs, maintenance, dry dockings, and conversions within budget.
• Monitor vessel performance and implement corrective actions to optimize operations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, class, and statutory regulations and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate surveys, inspections, certifications, and regulatory approvals with relevant authorities.
• Conduct regular vessel visits, prepare inspection reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare operational and management reports for internal review.
• Monitor and control vessel operating budgets and related financial reports.
• Support training and development of crew members and office staff.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance-related activities.

Qualifications

• Possess a Marine Engineer Class 1 Certificate with relevant sea-going experience.
• 4-6 years of relevant tanker experience, including experience as Chief Engineer.
• Strong team player with a hardworking and proactive attitude.
• Good organizational, communication, and hands-on problem-solving skills.
